Wild India with Delhi & Agra
Day-1: Arrival at Mumbai
Upon arrival at Mumbai, our representative will greet and transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax for comforting overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai - Gir National Park ( By flight)
After early morning breakfast at the hotel in Mumbai, you will proceed for half-day tour of Mumbai. The major tourist attractions covered by will be Bandra Fort, Prince of Wales Museum, The Gateway of India. In afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport to catch the flight for Rajkot. On arrival, you will drive for Gir National park and on arrival, you will be transferred to hotel for overnight stay.
- Bandra Fort- also known as Castelo da Aguada, a place of fresh water
- Prince of Wales Museum- Also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya is the main museum in Mumbai
- Gateway of India – The stone archway designed in the 16th century in Gujarati style and also been referred to as the Taj Mahal of Mumbai.
Day 03: Gir National Park
After early morning breakfast leave to witness the wildlife of Gir forest. There are around 350 lions in the national park. Another attraction at the forest are leopards and various animals like spotted dear, sambhar, black buck, chital, chinkara, jackal, Indian flying foe and more. You can even spot animals of cat family such as desert cat, jungle cat and rusty spotted cat. Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 04: Gir National Park: continue exploring
After early morning breakfast, continue tour exploration of Gir national park by bird watching. Also do not forget to visit the Tulsi Shyam springs and lord Krishna temple that is situated in the forest. Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 05: Gir National Park - Rajkot - Delhi ( By flight)
After morning breakfast, you will leave for Rajkot. From Rajkot, you will catch a flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, our representative will greet and transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Delhi - Agra (231 km - 4 to 5 hours)
Take breakfast at the hotel and go for a half day tour of old Delhi. Later in evening, drive for Agra in Uttar Pradesh. This includes a visit to the Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, and Qutub Minar. Our representative will also guide you through the ticketing process as well as the history and significance associated with these sites. On arrival in Agra, our representative will transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Agra - Itarsi ( Overnight train ) Satpura National Park: leave for Satpura national park
After that, you will do the sightseeing in Agra for Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb (Baby Taj) and Taj Mahal. Later in night, you will be transferred to railway station to catch a train for Itarsi.
- Agra Fort – The Red Fort of Agra which is famous for its beautiful palaces, and the Jasmine Tower where the Mughal emperor Shahjahan was confined as a prisoner for the last 8 years of his life.
- Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb (Baby Taj)
- Taj Mahal – Visit the world famous Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the world) in evening and see the sun-set over this white marble mausoleum.
*Please note- Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Day 08: Itarsi - Satpura National Park ( 50 Km, 40 to 50 min)
You will drive from Itarsi to Satpura National Park. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Later in afternoon, you will explore Satpura National Park and enjoy the safari. The fauna of this national park comprises of tigers, leopards, chinkara, Indian bison, wild dog, black buck, marsh crocodile, smooth otter and more. Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 09: Satpura National Park
After breakfast at the hotel in the national park continue your exploration of jungle safari. Its flora comprises of around 1300 species of plants which includes sal, teak, tendu, mahua, grasses, bamboos, bushes and more. Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 10: Satpura national park - Bandhavgarh National Park ( 524 Km, 9 to 10 hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for another national park, Bandhavgarh by road for overnight stay.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh National Park: explore national park
After breakfast at the resort, leave to explore the Bandhavgarh forest. Make sure you are ready with your cameras to shoot Bandhavgarh's 22 mammal species and 250 bird species. Later go for the tiger show and elephant ride. Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh National Park
After breakfast continue your exploration of the Bandhavgarh National Park. See a number of wild animals such as chinkara, nilgai, chausingha, wild boar, sambhal, and many more. Also feast your eyes by seeing paradise fly catchers, purple sunbirds, mynahs, yellow ioras and green barbets. Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh National Park - Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to catch a flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, our representative will greet and transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14: Delhi
After morning breakfast at the hotel in Delhi depart towards the airport to catch your flight for onward destination.
