Satpura National Park

Satpura national park is one of the most familiar wild life reserves in India. It is located in Hoshangabad district of Indian state Madhya Pradesh. The national park has been named after the familiar name of Satpura hill ranges.

The core park covers around 524 square kilometer. The park was founded in 1981 and has been considered as one of the most familiar tourist destinations in India after that time period. One can see the national animal of India moving in an open habitat inside the national park.

Fauna:

Satpura national park is well known for its unique bio-diversity. One can find the combination of flora and fauna in the place. There are different kinds of animal species living inside the national park. Some of the animals include tigers, leopards, crocodiles, antelopes and sloth bears.
